Tomoyoshi Koyama

Tomoyoshi Koyama (Japanese小山 知 良, Tomoyoshi Koyama, born March 19, 1983 in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese motorcycle racer.

Career

His debut in the World Motorcycle Championship gave Koyama already in the 2000 season at the Grand Prix of the Pacific in the Japanese Motegi in the 125cc class on Yamaha. In the same year he also won the Japanese championship in the eighth liter class.

In the 2007 season, the Japanese drove for the Red Bull KTM factory team of the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM in the class up to 125 cc and had its most successful year in the World Cup. In June 2007, he was able to enter the first Grand Prix victory of his career at the Grand Prix of Catalunya in Barcelona. With five other podium finishes Koyama ranking it behind Gabor Talmacsi un Héctor Faubel third place in the overall standings. In 2008 he was still starting for KTM, 17 of the 125 cc World Championship.

In 2009 Koyama joined for the Chinese manufacturer Loncin in the eighth liter class. He reached it with 17 points to 24 overall.

In the 2010 season Tomoyoshi Koyama starts on an Aprilia for the Team Racing Team Germany by Dirk Heidolf in the 125 cc class of the Motorcycle World Championship.
