TSV Großbardorf

The TSV Großbardorf 1923 eV is a sports club with 640 members of the Lower Franconian Großbardorf. He offers the sports of football, sports bowling and table tennis. The club is best known for its football team, which currently plays in the Bavarian League. His club colors are green and white.

History

The TSV Großbardorf was founded in 1923. In 1988, the club rose through the championship title in the A- class in the District League East to, the following season they qualified by the runner-up in the district league for the first time for the Bezirksoberliga. After the club was again and ascended, he won in 1992 as a district Oberliga under Frankish indoor championship. In the season 1993 /94 TSV Großbardorf rose as runners- BOL directly in the national league north. In the next season was lost by the relegation of the immediate re descent.

As a master of Bezirksoberliga Großbardorf increased in the 1996/97 season once again in the national league north to where the club finished 5th in the first season. In the same season the club reached the final of the under Frankish Toto Cup. In the season 1999/ 00 the TSV Großbardorf won the Cup and qualified for the Bavarian Toto Cup, where they reached the semi-finals. In the 2000 /01 season of TSV came after he had reached the second place in the national league, in the relegation to the rise in the Bavarian League, but failed because of the SpVgg Unterhaching II on penalties. Two years later, in 2002 /03, it rose by a 2nd place at the Bavarian League.

In the first Bavarian League season 2003/04 TSV got 11th. 2006/ 07 had the club after a 15th place in the Bavarian League Relegation play against relegation, but defeated the SV Schalding- Heining and thus managed to avoid relegation. The following season, 2007/08 TSV Großbardorf rose with a fourth place in the table on the football Regional. In the first season in the Regionalliga Süd, the club rose to 17th place in the table but directly again.

Since the 2009/10 season, thus the TSV Großbardorf plays in the Bavarian League.

Sports grounds

The TSV Großbardorf plays its home games at the 3,500 -seat " TSV Sportpark " from the Unterhofer road in the southwestern part Großbardorfs. It comprises a main pitch with a covered grandstand (1,000 seats) and two minor courts and a football pitch.

Since this sports field, however, the requirements of the DFB for the Regional unfulfilled, found the home games of the first team of TSV Großbardorf in the 2008 /09 season held at less than 25 km away Schweinfurt Willy- Sachs-Stadion. After relegation, the club plays again in the TSV Sportpark.
