Tupiza Municipality

The municipality of Tupiza is a district in the Potosí Department in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality of Tupiza is one of two Municipalities in the province Sur chichas. It is bordered to the north by the province of Nor chichas, on the west by the municipality of Atocha and the province of Nor Lípez, on the southwest by the province Lípez Sur, on the south by the Republic of Argentina and of the province of Modesto Omiste, in the southeast on the department of Tarija and on the east by the department of Chuquisaca.
