Sur chichas (also: Sud chichas ) is a province in the southeastern part of the department of Potosí in the highlands of South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location

The chichas Sur province is one of sixteen provinces in the Potosí Department. It lies between 20 ° 51 'and 21 ° 50' south latitude and between 65 ° 15 ' and 66 ° 30 ' west longitude. It is bordered on the north by the province of Nor chichas, in the northwest of the province Antonio Quijarro, on the west by the province of Nor Lípez and the province Sur Lípez, to the south by the Republic of Argentina and the province Modesto Omiste, in the southeast on the department of Tarija and on the east by the department of Chuquisaca.
