Two-level pylon

Danube mast is in Germany and Austria, the usual term for a specific design of pylons for two three-phase circuits, in which two conductors of a circuit on the lower, usually wider Traverse and are a top on. Chance, however, Danube masts are to be found, in which the arrangement is upside down, the wider truss is installed with two conductor cables so over the narrower.

Danube masts are on the territory of the former West Germany, the most common type of high-voltage masts for three-phase high voltage transmission ( Dhu ) for two circuits, while in the field of the new federal states that a level arrangement of conductor cables is widely used for the 110 kV voltage level.
