Waist tower

A delta mast is an electricity pylon, whose Traverse is supported by a V-shaped fork, so in the middle of the traverse is room for a ladder rope.

Delta masts are usually only for a circuit, occasionally used for two circuits up to 765 kV.

In the United States, France, Spain, Italy and the former Yugoslavia, this design is common, while in Germany moved to Delta masts high-voltage lines are rare. Due to their high stability, but they are also occasionally used in Austria and Switzerland.
