Uwharrie Lakes Region

The Uwharrie Lakes Region (also Uwharrie Lakes ) refers to a number of reservoirs in the mountain range of the Uwharrie Mountains along the Yadkin River in North Carolina in the United States of America.

The reservoirs that are forming this region from north to south of High Rock Lake, the Tucker Town Reservoir, Badin Lake of, Lake Tillery and Blewett Falls Lake of. The lakes and the rivers are bordered on the east side of the Uwharrie National Forest, a protected forest area by the federal government, which extends over the counties Stanly County, Rowan County, Davidson County, Montgomery County, Anson County, and Richmond County.
