Vadim Schipachev

Vadim Alexandrovich Schipatschow (Russian Вадим Александрович Шипачёв; born March 12, 1987 in Cherepovets, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with SKA St. Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2013.

Career

Vadim Schipatschow began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of Severstal Cherepovets, for the first team, he made his debut in the Super League in the season 2005/ 06. However, in his first two seasons in the top Russian league the Center came just three missions and played from 2006 to 2008 mainly for Sewerstals Partners HK Belgorod from the second division, the Wysschaja league. He was able, especially in the 2007/ 08 season convince in which he scored 38 points scorer for Belgorod in 34 second division games, including eight goals.

From the 2008/ 09 season was Schipatschow regular for Severstal Cherepovets in the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. In 2009 he strengthened second in the playoffs Sewerstals team in the third-class Perwaja league.

In May 2013 Schipatschow in exchange for Ivan Kassutin, Grigori Serkin, a draft pick and a compensatory payment to the SKA St. Petersburg have been made.
