Vezzano sul Crostolo

Vezzano sul Crostolo is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4247 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Reggio Emilia in Emilia -Romagna. The municipality is situated approximately 13 kilometers south-southwest of Reggio Emilia.

History

On June 23, 1944 32 civilians were killed by German soldiers in the so-called massacre of Bettola ( a district of Vezzano ).

Through the community, the Strada Statale 63 del Passo del Cerreto leads from Aulla by Gualtieri.
