Vilima is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Kõrgessaare ( Kõrgessaare vald ). It is the second largest Estonian island of Hiiumaa ( German Dagö ).

Description and History

Vilima today no more inhabitants (as of 31 December 2011). The place is located in the south of the peninsula Kõpu ( Kõpu pool saar ).

The name of the village probably derives from the names of the men Villem; End of the 17th century was the owner of the farmstead, a certain Willem Larss.
