Vítor Faverani

Vitor Luiz Faverani Tatsch (born 5 May 1988 in Porto Alegre) is a Brazilian professional basketball player. Currently, he plays in the position of center for the Boston Celtics in the NBA.

Faverani began his career as a basketball player in the youth of the CB Málaga. In the 2005/06 season he played in the Spanish league for the third CB Axarquia. The following year, he ran for Basket Zaragoza 2002 in the Spanish second division and played a few games for CB Málaga in the Spanish first division. 2007/ 08 he played for San Sebastián Gipuzkoa BC in the Spanish second division. He then moved again for a year for CB Málaga. That year he also played for their reserve team CB Axarquia in the Spanish second division. The following two years he ran on for CB Murcia. With the team he rose to the second division and then log back on. For the season 2011/12 he moved to Spanish side Valencia Basket Club and stayed there for two years. The team reached fourth place in the league with each the playoffs. There you failed 2012 semi-final on FC Barcelona and 2013 in the quarterfinals at Zaragoza. In both years, he performed with Valencia in the Eurocup. 2012, the final was reached that they lost against BK Khimki. For the 2013/14 season Faverani moved to the NBA team the Boston Celtics. His first game he played on October 30, 2013 against the Toronto Raptors.
