Vladislav Yuzhakov

Vladislav Gennadjewitsch Juschakow (Russian Владислав Геннадьевич Южаков; born 25 January 1985 in Tschussowoi ) is a Russian luger.

Career

Vladislav Juschakow is luger since 1997. With his partner Vladimir Machnutin the student starts since the 2006/07 season in the World Cup. In the overall standings they reached the 19th place, the best individual result was ranked twelve in Sigulda. In the first race of the season 2007/ 08 they were 13 at the end of the season you were ranked number 15 in the World Cup overall standings.

The 2009/10 season ended Juschakow with his partner in 14th place overall. This placement also both reached at the European Luge Championships 2010 in Sigulda. The following year, both significantly increased and were eighth in the overall standings. In the Luge World Cup 2011 in Cesana Pariol she missed almost a medal and were at the end of fourth. The following season 2011/12 ended Juschakow and Machnutin to sixth overall, before both at the Luge World Cup 2012 in Altenberg finished fifth and won the silver medal in the team relay. Shortly after they won the team relay at the European Luge Championships 2012 in Paramonovo the gold medal.

The 2012/13 season ended with a 11th place overall. In the Luge World Cup in 2013 in Whistler both ended up in eighth place. A short time later at the European Luge Championships 2013 in Oberhof were both ten and won the team relay bronze.
