Vlkov pod OÅ¡kobrhem

Vlkov pod Oškobrhem ( German Wolfsberg ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers east of Poděbrady and belongs to fulltext your real estates.

Geography

Vlkov located at the northern foot of the Oškobrh ( Wolfsberg, 285 m ) on the East Bohemian panel. West of the Sansky runs kanál.

Neighboring towns are Srbce and Vrbice in the north, Opočnice in the northeast, Kolaje in the east, in the southeast Oškobrh, Opolany in the south, and Odřepsy Mlýnek the southwest, Nové Mlýny in the west and Okřínek in the northwest.

History

In 1777, began as part of the Raabisation the repopulation of the area on Oškobrh, which was referred to this time as Vlkovský Kopec / Wolfsberg. To the mountain villages Srbetz emerged ( Srbce ), Wolfsberg, Lustdorf and Hermann village.

The as -built village north below the pilgrimage church of St. Peter and Paul -scale settlement was named after the mountain. In 1782, the church was canceled because of the Josephine reforms and 1786 partially removed. Together with the pastures of Odřepsy bought in the following year a farmer from Wolfsberg the remains of the chapel. After the reign Podiebrad had again acquired the ruined church in 1798, they had been turned into a gamekeeper's house.

After the abolition of patrimonial Vlkov / Volfsberk / Wolfsberg formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Poděbrady. In 1948, the community name to differentiate from a near village located further Vlkov has been extended by the addition pod Oškobrhem. On January 1, 1961, the community came to fulltext your real estates.
