Warth-Weiningen
Warth -Weiningen is a municipality in the district of Frauenfeld in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland.
On the political community next to the famous Charterhouse includes also the hamlet scourge, Nergeten and Weckingen.
Population
Of the total of 1174 inhabitants (2007 ) 66 residents have foreign citizenship.
History
The first mention of wine Ingen dated from the year 1219 as Winingin. The history of Warth is closely linked to the former convent Ittingen ( 1152-1848 ). The church today Warth -Weiningen created on 1 January 1995 by the union of two former local churches Warth and wine Willingen, for the union joined the local church Weiningen by former District Steckborn to the district of Frauenfeld.
