His first more famous bearer of the name was St. Wilhelm ( Willehalm ) of Aquitaine ( 745-812 ), cousin of Emperor Charlemagne, uncle of Parsifal and founder of the Abbey Gellone, today, Saint -Guilhem -le- Désert.
