William C. Feazel

William Crosson Feazel (* June 10, 1895, † March 16, 1965 ) was a senator of the U.S. state of Louisiana. He was born near Farmerville in Union Parish, graduated from the public schools and worked as an independent oil and gas producer.

Feazel was from 1932 to 1936 a member of the House of Representatives from Louisiana. He was appointed by Governor Earl Kemp Long on May 18, 1948 as a member of the Democratic Party in the Senate to fill the gap left by the death of John H. Overton. Feazel agreed, and held the office from 18 May to 30 December 1948. He did not participate in the election for the vacant post in the Senate and returned to the oil and gas business in Monroe and Shreveport back. He was resident of West Monroe, and died 1965 in Shreveport; the funeral was in Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe. His seat in the Senate went to his successor, Russell B. Long, also a member of the Democratic Party and son of Huey P. Long.
