William Weigand

William Keith Weigand (* May 23, 1937 in Bend ) is Roman Catholic Bishop Emeritus of Sacramento.

Life

William Keith Weigand received on 25 May 1963, ordained priest for the Diocese of Boise City.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on September 9, 1980 Bishop of Salt Lake City. The Archbishop of San Francisco, John Raphael Quinn, gave him on 17 November of the same year the episcopal ordination; Sylvester William Treinen were co-consecrators, Bishop of Boise City, and Joseph Lennox Federal, emeritus bishop of Salt Lake City.
