Xilingol League

Xilin Gol is a covenant in the center of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. The federal government Xilin Gol has an area of ​​202,580 km ² and about 930,000 inhabitants ( end of 2004). Capital and seat of the federal government is an administrative district in Xilin Hot. History

At the beginning of the Shang Dynasty, attracted nomadic tribes to this area. In the Qin Dynasty counties was established here to manage this region temporarily. As the second capital was Xinlingol an important central city of the Yuan Dynasty.
