Zoran Milanović

Zoran Milanovic ( born October 30, 1966 in Zagreb) is a Croatian politician.

After studying law at the University of Zagreb, he became a member of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1998, he completed a postgraduate studies in European law in Brussels.

Since June 2, 2007, he is chairman of the Socijaldemokratska Partija Hrvatske (SDP ). In the parliamentary elections in Croatia in 2007, he was elected MPs. He is leader of the SDP in the Croatian Parliament.

In the parliamentary elections on December 4, 2011 he was the top candidate of his party, which contested in the context of the electoral alliance Kukuriku. After this reached a majority of seats, Milanovic was elected on December 23, 2011 by the Parliament as successor Jadranka Kosor Prime Minister of Croatia.
