2011 Levene Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger

The Levene Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger 2011 was the 18th edition of the hard court tennis tournament in Binghamton. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2011 and was discharged from the 6th to the 14th August 2011.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 20 participants took place in the run-up in which four players were able to qualify for the main draw. The prize money of the event was $ 50,000.

The set at position three Americans Bobby Reynolds had to withdraw due to an injury his participation in the individual tournament. For him, the Brazilian Bruno Semenzato enlisted as a lucky loser in the bunch. In single won the set at position two Chilean Paul Capdeville, who won the final against the set at position eight Americans Wayne Odesnik in straight sets. This was the eighth Challenger singles titles in his career and after 2008 and 2009, already the third in this tournament. He became the sole record title holder. Last year's winner Kei Nishikori of Japan did not appear to defend their title.

In the doubles competition, the set in the first position Colombian pair failed to win consisting of Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah the final of the top-seeded pairings against last year's winner Treat Huey of the Philippines and Frederik Nielsen of Denmark in straight sets. This was CABAL eleventh and eighth Farah's doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour, which he acquired with all Cabal. It was already her fifth doubles title of the season on Challenger level. The second year's winner Dominic Inglot of Great Britain did not occur to defend their title.
