The Good Kletkamp is on the edge of the Holstein Switzerland in a deep, filled with water courses and lakes lowlands. The present manor house stands on the site of a medieval moated castle, which belonged to the Knights of Kletkamp since 1253. Already in the 14th century came the estate in the possession of the Cistercian monastery Reinfeld and from 1387 to 1612 it belonged to the Rantzau. In 1612 it went over to the of Brockdorff by marriage; to this day the Count Brockdorff are located here.

In the center of the estate is the mansion Kletkamp. This is essentially a timber- Renaissance building Rantzauischer time, but was reshaped and enlarged by the Brockdorff with baroque and neoclassical elements. In studies from the 1970s ceiling structures were exposed and examined the wood dendrochronologically, as a result of the creation date of the core construction is dated to the year 1547. Following these results, it is the oldest mansion in Schleswig -Holstein. The house is a peculiar building with two very different facades. The older core building shows up to the park as a two-storey brick building with a hipped roof, a converted 19th century Mittelrisaliten with third floor and high pediment and makes a rather down to earth impression. At the courtyard towards 1676 a highly salient, white plastered Mittelbau was added, which rises five storeys, in a dominating height. He falls out of the frame Holsteinischer manor house types and is expected to follow Dutch models. On a three-storey, five-axle front sits a three-axle fourth floor, which concludes with side gables; towers on the roof above the fifth floor of a tower with lantern aloft, which has since been reconstructed after a fire in 1952. The interior is dominated by neo-classical modifications of the early 19th century. About the stucco ceiling of the dining room was found in repair work a richly painted beamed ceiling from the beginning of the 17th century, which was relocated to the hallway of the upper floor.

More formative building is the gatehouse from 1775 with richly ornamented brickwork and strongly curved covers that are decorated with small obelisk. It is next to the gate lodges of Good and Good Testorf Hasselburg the best in the country.

After the mansion was used for a time as a hotel - the family Brockdorff lived in the house inspector at the gate - it has been renovated from the ground up since the 1990s, as the standing in the moat house was heavily infested by sponge. Today, the family's mansion inhabited itself tours are available by prior arrangement. Also worth mentioning is the grave chapel of Count Cai Lorenz von Brockdorff (died 1725) at the church in Kirchnüchel.

However, by the marriage of his daughter Ina with the refugees from Mecklenburg Hans- Wilhelm von Meerheimb 1948 the estate remained in the distant relatives of the Count of Brockdorff. Here the well-known farm eggs have been produced since the 1970s.
