100 Greatest Romanians

Mari Români ( The greatest Romanians ) is the Romanian branch, which ran on Televiziunea Română, of the 100 Greatest Britons, which was produced in 2002 by the British Broadcasting Corporation. In 2006, the public had the opportunity to determine the 100 greatest Romanians of all time. Then each one of the Top Ten got his own show, where the audience were given the opportunity to vote after each program. After a final discussion and vote of all time was announced on October 21, Ştefan cel Mare, the largest Romanian.
