12th Planet (musician)

12th Planet ( John Dadzie real name, also known as Infiltrata; born June 7, 1982 in Los Angeles, California) is an American DJ and music producer in the styles of Dubstep, Electro and Jungle. He has performed, among others, at Coachella, the Electric Daisy Carnival and the Ultra Music Festival and is one of the first major U.S. dubstep artist.

Biography

Dadzie grew up in Los Angeles. After high school, he teamed up with DJ Lith, the label Imperial Recordings. In 2006, he then began to produce electronic music as Infiltrata themselves, then primarily drum & bass. That same year, he changed his stage name to to 12th Planet and dealt intensively with dubstep. As of 2007, he then worked regularly with Skrillex. This referred to him during a joint live performance as his mentor. In addition to Skrillex collaborated 12th Planet even with artists such as Doctor P, Datsik and Skream.

The name of 12th Planet is based on Zecharia Sitchin's book 12th Planet.
