1939 Home Nations Championship
After the exclusion of France 1932, the rugby union Five Nations tournament (now the Six Nations ) until 1939 was continued again as Home Nations Championship with four British teams. The tournament of the year 1939 took place between 21 January and 18 March. Tournament winners were jointly Wales, Ireland and England, each with two wins and one defeat ( the points difference did not matter after the then Tournament mode).
