1990 ICC Trophy
The ICC Trophy 1990 was the qualifying tournament of the non-test nations for the Cricket World Cup 1992. The tournament was held between 4 and 23 June, 1990 in the Netherlands. Winner was Zimbabwe, which prevail in the final against hosts Netherlands with 47 runs and thus failed to qualify for the World Cup.

Format
In the preliminary round, the 17 teams were divided into four groups, three with four and a split with five teams. The respective group winners and runners- qualified for the second round. The other teams played a consolation round. In the second round, the four semi-finalists were determined in two groups of four, then in the semifinals and finals determined the winner of the tournament and therefore qualifiers for the World Cup.
