1986 ICC Trophy
The ICC Trophy 1986 was the qualifying tournament of the non-test nations for the Cricket World Cup 1987. The tournament was held between 11 June and 7 July, 1986 in England. Winner was Zimbabwe, which was able to win in the final against the Netherlands with 5 wickets and thus qualify for the World Cup.

Format
The 16 teams were in two groups, one with nine, one with seven teams divided. Their group winners and runners- qualified for the semifinals. Their winners qualified for the final, the winner of which is qualified for the World Cup.
