1999 UEFA Futsal Championship
The 2nd European Futsal Championship 1999 was held from February 22 to 28 in Granada (Spain). At participated in this tournament 8 teams who entered first in groups and then in the knockout system against each other. The title was won for the first time the Russian team.

Venues
The European Championships was held at the Palacio Municipal de Deportes de Granada in Granada. It holds 7500 spectators.
Participant
At the European Championship in 1999 8 teams participated, Spain qualified automatically as hosts. To the remaining 7 places fought a total of 24 nations were divided into seven groups, with only the group winners were given a room for the final round.
