UEFA Futsal Championship

The European Futsal Championship is organized by UEFA since 1999 for official European Futsal national teams. The first tournament was held in Granada, Spain.

Mode

The host is always automatically qualified for the finals. The other seven spots will be playing in qualifying tournaments. Since 2005 there is also still a preliminary round for new futsal nations, preceding the qualifying tournaments. In the final round the teams are currently divided into four groups of three. The top two teams in each group progress to the quarter -finals. The four teams playing in the semi-finals to the finals. The losers of the semi-final play, with one exception in 2003, for the third place.
