Hungary national futsal team
The Hungarian Futsal national team is a representative selection of Hungarian futsal players. The team represents the Hungarian Football Federation at international meetings.
Performance in tournaments
The Hungarian National Team took in 1989 at the invitation of the FIFA Futsal World Cup at the first in the Netherlands and in part was solved there in a group with Spain, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. Through victory over Saudi Arabia and the eventual champions Brazil as well as a narrow defeat against Spain they reached the second round as group runners. There was enough against the Netherlands and Belgium respectively to a draw, by a 1-3 defeat in their final group game against point-less to date Italians you missed the semi-finals. Since then, Hungary has indeed regularly on the World Cup qualifiers in part, but missed each the World Cup finals.
For a European, the Hungarian national team qualified after four unsuccessful attempts, beginning in 2005, but failed while devoid of points in the preliminary round to Spain, Portugal and Italy. Five years later, hosted the European Championship finals, in a triad with Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic you failed again early devoid of points.
