Ukraine national futsal team

The Ukrainian futsal national team is a representative selection of Ukrainian futsal players. The team representing the Football Federation of Ukraine at international meetings. The team is one of the strongest teams in Europe, 2001 and 2003, the team became European vice-champion.

Performance in tournaments

Ukraine took part in six European Championships so far. 2001 and 2003 reached the final of each one, but just going down to Spain ( 1:2 by Sudden Death, 2001) and Italy (0:1, 2003).

For World Cup finals under the auspices of FIFA, the national team qualified three times. In the first participation in 1996 they came up immediately to the last four and lost the final of the Russian small selection of 2:3. Four years later they had already failed in qualifying just outside the eventual champions Spain 0-1.

In 2008, the Ukrainian team finished third at the annual hosted by the Brazilian Association Grand Prix de Futsal.
