Azerbaijan national futsal team
The Azerbaijani futsal team is a representative selection of Azerbaijani futsal players. The team represents the Azerbaijani Football Federation at international meetings.
Performance in tournaments
Although Azerbaijan since Mitter 1990 already took regularly qualifying rounds to major international tournaments, but the first-time finals participation succeeded only at the European Championships in 2010 under the Brazilian coach Alesio, who sat on several naturalized Brazilians next Azerbaijani players. In the final round, the team immediately reached the semi-finals and defeated there after six-meter shooting the selection of Portugal.
