2010 UEFA Futsal Championship
The 7th European Futsal Championship 2010 was held in Hungary from 19th to 30th. At the tournament participated twelve teams that competed first in groups and then in the knockout system against each other. The title was won for the third time in a row the team of Spain.

Qualification
Venues
The EM was held for the third time in two different venues. The main venue was The Phoenix Arena in Debrecen, in the next two preliminary groups and two quarter-finals, the semi finals and finals were played. The 6,500 -seat hall is the second largest in Hungary.
The Papp László Budapest Sports Arena in Budapest, the capital served as a second venue. Apart from two preliminary groups, the largest with 7,700 spectator seats, sports hall of Hungary was also the site of two quarter-finals.
Participant
At the European Championships in 2010 the number of participants was increased from eight to twelve teams, Hungary qualified automatically as hosts. To the remaining eleven places fought a total of 39 nations. In a first round, the 16 teams were playing with the worst UEFA coefficient in four groups against each other. The group winners and the best second went on to the next round where they were drawn together with the 23 remaining teams in seven groups of four. The group winners and the four best runners, eventually qualify for the final.
The twelve finalists were drawn into four groups.

Golden Shoe
The Golden Boot for the top scorer of the tournament won the Spaniard Javi Rodríguez, the Italians Saad Assis, the Portuguese Joel Queirós and Biro Jade from Azerbaijan with five hits.
