2001 UEFA Futsal Championship
The 3rd European Futsal Championship 2001 was held from 22 to 28 February in Moscow (Russia). At participated in this tournament eight teams that competed first in groups and then in the knockout system against each other. The title was won for the second time the team of Spain.

Venues
The European Championships were held in the Luzhniki Sports Complex in Moscow. The hall offers viewers 12,500 seats.
Participant
At the 2001 European eight teams participated, Russia qualified automatically as hosts. To the remaining seven places fought a total of 22 nations were divided into seven groups, with only the group winners were given a room for the final round.
