2005–06 Segunda División
The season 2005/ 06 was the 75th time in the history of the Spanish second division, the Segunda División. It began on 28 August 2005 and ended on 19 June 2006 with the 42nd matchday. As relegated from the Primera División took Levante UD, CD Numancia and Albacete Balompié on the season part. Newcomers from the Segunda División B were Real Madrid Castilla, Hércules CF, CD Castellón and Lorca Deportiva.
