2005 Tennis Masters Cup
The 6th Tennis Masters Cup took place November 13 to 20, 2005 in Shanghai. Counting the previous tournaments, it was the 36th Masters.
Defending champion Roger Federer was that prevailed in 2004 against Lleyton Hewitt in the final. 2005 Federer defeated surprise David Nalbandian in five sets after he won the first two sets for itself. In the preliminary round Federer had clearly won in three sets against Nalbandian.
