2012–13 UCI Africa Tour
The UCI Africa Tour 2013 is the ninth edition of the established by the International Cycling Union UCI for season 2005 African road cycling calendar below the UCI ProTour ( since 2011: UCI World Tour ), one of the UCI Continental Circuits. The season begins on October 1, 2012 and ends on 30 September 2013.
The one-day races and stage races of the UCI Africa Tour are divided into three categories (HC, 1 and 2). For every race points are awarded for a score. At this rating participate the Professional Continental teams and Continental teams. At the individual race ProTeam also can participate, the placements made by the ProTeam riders remain but for rankings disregarded.
