Damián Alejandro " El Chori " Domínguez ( born June 10, 1981 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine footballer who has been employed since July 2013 at Olympiakos Piraeus under contract.

Career

Until 1998, Domínguez played at Lanus. Then he joined Quilmes AC and then three years later in 2001 to River Plate. 2004 undertook Rubin Kazan the Argentines for approximately € 1.5 million. After three years at Rubin Kazan Domínguez moved to Zenit St Petersburg. St. Petersburg paid the equivalent of € 7,000,000, which the transfer fee record within the Premjer league broke. It impresses with its excellent technology and good dribbling skills. In the semifinals of the UEFA Cup 2007/2008 Domínguez moved in for the suspended Andrei Arshavin starting players in the team. The 4-0 home win against FC Bayern Munich winger showed a convincing performance and gave two assists. In the final, but again Arshavin was on the court. After the departure Arschawins Domínguez should take his place, but could not convince in the following two months. After he had some differences with the former Zenit coach Dick Advocaat, he returned on 13 March 2009, the date of the transfer time in Russia to his former club Rubin Kazan back.

In December 2009, he signed a contract for three and a half years at Valencia. In the 2011/12 season Domínguez was loaned to River Plate. The Argentine history, the club he managed to climb out of the Primera B Nacional in the first Argentine league, La Liga. In the 2012/13 season the Argentine joined the Spanish side Rayo Vallecano. In the summer of 2013 Domínguez signed a two -year contract with Greek giants Olympiakos Piraeus.
