Alenka Bratušek

Alenka Bratušek ( born March 31, 1970 in Celje) is a Slovenian politician ( Pozitivna Slovenija ) and February (acting) and March ( regular) 2013 Prime Minister of the country.

Biography

Alenka Bratušek studied at the University of Ljubljana management and earned a master's degree in 2006. From 1999 to 2011 she was employed by the Slovenian Ministry of Finance, most recently as Director General of the Budget Department.

In the parliamentary elections in Slovenia in 2011 she became the member of the party Pozitivna Slovenija the entry into parliament. She was chairman of the Committee for the control of public finances.

In January 2013, it took over as acting party chairman, as the former Chairman Zoran Janković was under suspicion of corruption and rested his office. On 27 February 2013, the Slovenian parliament said the standing also under suspicion of corruption Prime Minister Janez Janša of the mistrust and chose the former opposition leader Bratušek the new Prime Minister. She presented as required by the Constitution within 14 days of their new government together, which was approved by Parliament on 20 March.
