Alex Sandro Silva Lobos (born 26 January 1991 Catanduva, Brazil) is a Brazilian football player who currently plays in Portugal with FC Porto. He plays the position of left-back.

Career

Association

Alex Sandro played in his youth for the Clube Atlético Paranaense. His debut in the pros he was 18 October 2008 against SC Internacional, which was but lost 1:2. In this season it was also his last assignment in the professional team. He played again for the B - team of Paranaense. In the next season he came to more Einsaätzen. In February 2010, he joined the Uruguayan side Club Deportivo Maldonado. Without a game to deny he was to FC Santos ( Brazil) borrowed. With Santos, he was employed in 24 games. He also won the Copa Libertadores. In June 2011 he returned to Maldonado. Again in the same year Alex Sandro went to the Portuguese tradition FC Porto. For him, a transfer fee of 9.6 million euros was paid. His Ausstiegsklaussel is estimated at 50 million euros. Alex Sandro has signed a contract until 30 June 2016.

National

Alex Sandro is currently plaing for national team of Brazil. He made his debut under Mano Menezes 10 November 2011 against Gabon. He came in in the second half for Fábio Pereira da Silva. Previously, he completed two games. Before that he played in the U20. At the U20 World Cup 2011 in Colombia, he only came in one game to use. In addition, he completed ten more games for Brazil U20.

In 2012 he took part with the Olympic Team at the Olympic Games in London, in which Brazil wanted to win for the first time the gold medal. In the final, Brazil but was defeated with 1:2 of the Mexican team. Alex Sandro came in three out of six games for use, including in the final.
