Alexander Comyn, Earl of Buchan

Alexander Comyn, Earl of Buchan († 1289 ) was a Scottish nobleman and one of the most important political figures of Scotland in the 13th century. He has held a number of political offices, including that of the General Counsel of Scotland and was twice Guardian of Scotland.

Life

He was born the son of William Comyn of the Comyn clan, the title of Earl of Buchan led on the right of his second wife Marjory.
