Alexander Walke

Alexander Walke ( born June 6, 1983 in Oranienburg ) is a German football goalkeeper.

Career

Walke began his footballing career in the youth teams of SG Eintracht Oranienburg before he played from 1997 for the B- youth of Energie Cottbus and from 1999 for the A- youth from Werder Bremen.

Werder Bremen

2001 Walke moved on to the second team in the Regionalliga An incoming Bremen, completed for this in the season 2001 /02 but only five appearances. He was noticed as early as 2001 in the boarding of the SV Werder by cannabis use and had to undergo three months individual training in the sequence. 2002/ 03 he came to 20 appearances for the reserve team of Bremen, however, consumed cannabis again in 2002. SC Freiburg

After a total of 54 appearances for Werder's reserve team Walke joined the 2005/06 season free transfer to the Bundesliga relegation SC Freiburg and displaced there Richard Golz from the starting eleven. In his first year he played for Freiburg 29 second division games, but the direct resurgence missed the Freiburg team than in fourth. Thus came Walke 2006/ 07 to 33 other second league appearances for SC Freiburg and became the beginning of the season 2007/ 08 was elected captain of his team. Previously, however, he had suffered a back injury in a car accident and returned to the starting lineup of the Breisgauer until the 10th game day.
