Álvaro Pino

Álvaro Pino ( born August 17, 1956 in Ponte Areas, Spain ) is a former Spanish cyclist.

Career

His professional career lasted from 1981 until 1991. A good climber he could decide the 1986 Tour of Spain itself. In 1988, he won the mountains classification of the Tour of Spain. After his professional career Álvaro Pino remained faithful to cycling and was sports director of the team Kelme, Phonak Cycling Team and Karpin - Galicia.
