History
In the song Madonna sings about a girl who suffers because of their " being single " to severe depression and an "angel " to put an end to. In an interview, Madonna explained that she experienced such a situation in their youth, and this is also related to the continued revenue from their first album. The recordings took place in April 1984.
Originally planned for Madonna song to shoot a music video, but due to lack of ideas for an action they decided against it and there was a mix - video cut. As a B-side of the hit you used the classic Into the Groove.
