Ängsö National Park

The Swedish National Park Ängsö located on an island in the archipelago of Stockholm. Of the 168 hectare reserve is 93 ha of water.

In the 17th century, it served two islands were coalesced and used for agriculture due to the land uplift. Due to the protected status as a National Park, the embossed man-made pastures and meadows is obtained in a state, as was typical of the 19th century.

The flora of the area still shows for that time common species of flora. Degrees in the spring impressed the abundance of flowers in the area.

The island also has a rich bird life, and sometimes fish and sea eagles can be seen.

The national park is accessible only by water.
