Anne Haug

Anne Haug ( born January 20, 1983 in Bayreuth ) is a German professional triathlete, Duathlon National Champion in 2008 and 2009, triathlon Vice State Champion of 2009 Triathlon World runner-up (2012 ) and reigning German Champion Triathlon (2013 ) ..

Career

Haug is a qualified sports scientist (TU Munich) and lives in Bayreuth and Munich. She was trained over several years by the Luxembourg a sports scientist Dan Lorang from Munich and Michael Hahn, a lecturer at the Technical University of Munich and former top swimmer of the German Swimming Federation ( DSV). Anne Haug occurs at 1848 Erlangen, team Icehouse and LG Stadtwerke München for the clubs TV.

In 2007 she became European Champion Winter Triathlon in her age group ( 20-24 years). In 2008 she was German Duathlon Champion and she could this success the following year again repeat. In the Duathlon World Championships in 2009, she took fifth place.

End of 2011, Anne Haug has moved on their own to Australia to prepare there in May under new coach Darren Smith targeted to the London Olympics and the qualifying race for it in Madrid.

In May 2012, she qualified in Madrid together with Svenja Bazlen for a place at the Olympic Games in London and the two went there together with Anja Dittmer of Germany at the start. Anne Haug finished the race with a time of 2:01:35.00 eleventh place before Anja Dittmer. With her victory at the Grand Final in New Zealand it was in October vice-world champion in 2012.

At the World Cup series in 2013 she was third after seven races. In the election for Sportswoman of the Year 2013 Anne Haug landed on the 16th place.

In the four years from 2007 to 2010 Haug took part in 19 ITU competitions and was able to win 14 top ten places.
