Annie Lööf

Annie Marie Therése Lööf (* July 16, 1983 in Maramö, Värnamo, Småland as Annie Marie Therése Johansson ) is a Swedish politician. Since September 2011 she has been Chairman of the Centerpartiet and Sweden Economy Minister.

Biography

Annie Lööf grew up in Maramö in the community Värnamo in Småland / Sweden. Even as a student she was a member of the 2001 Centerpartiet. In 2006, she was elected to the Swedish Parliament and was in her first term the youngest member of Parliament.

In August 2011, she graduated in law at the University of Lund successfully. On September 23, 2011, she was elected chair of the Centerpartiet. On 29 September 2011 she was appointed Sweden's Minister of Economic Affairs.
