Arthur Yager

Arthur Yager ( born October 29, 1858 in Henry County, Kentucky, USA, † December 24, 1941 in Pewee Valley, Kentucky, USA) from 1913 to 1921 governor of Puerto Rico.

At Georgetown College in Kentucky, he taught history and politics. From 1908 to 1913 he was president of the college.

Subsequently appointed U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, Yagers fellow student at Johns Hopkins University, him. Than Democrats for Governor of Puerto Rico He held the office until the end of Wilson's presidency. He was replaced by Emmet Montgomery Reily.
