Bang (Band)
Bang was a Greek pop duo that existed from 1987 to 1991. The members were Thanos Kalliris (vocals) and Vasilis Dertilis ( background vocals / keyboards).
The duo won the Greek preliminary decision to Concours Euro Vision Song Contest in 1987 and was therefore entitled to the contest in Brussels occur with their pop song stop. As a background choir functioned Katerina Kalliri, Mariana Efstratiou and Laura Burke. They reached the tenth place.
After the contest, the group released three LPs and several singles. As of 1992, Thanos decided to Kalliris a solo career as a pop singer.
