Barbara Abart

Barbara variation ( born August 18, 1985 in Schlanders ) is a former Italian Naturbahnrodlerin. In 2005 she was vice world champion, won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 2004 and a total of three medals at Junior World and European Championships. In the World Cup, they reached with six podiums twice fifth overall, it was also twice Italian champion.

Career

Variety took from 2001 in international junior championships and drove at the Junior European Championships in 2001 and at the Junior World Championship in 2002 each in the top five. In 2001 and 2003, she was Italian champion.

The 2002 European Championships in Frantschach - Sankt Gertraud was Abarts first international championship in the general class. She sat down in the team 's internal qualification against Irene Mitterstieler through and finished in fourth place in the competition. From the 2002/2003 season started variety in the World Cup.
