Belize national football team

The Belizean national football team is the national football team of the Central Central American country of Belize. She is a member of the continental federation CONCACAF. So far, it's the team not yet managed to qualify for the World Cup. The first qualification for the CONCACAF Gold Cup succeeded in 2013. Belize in March 2013 reached 123, the place best ever position in the FIFA World Ranking.

World Cup Qualifiers

As part of the qualification for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa, the team met in the first round of the CONCACAF region on the national team from St. Kitts and Nevis. The first leg won in Belize Guatemala 3-1 on 6 February 2008, the return match in Basseterre (Saint Kitts and Nevis) ended 1-1, making Belize moved into the second round of qualifying. There, the team lost on June 15 in Houston (United States), the first leg against Mexico 0-2. The return match took place on 21 June in Monterrey ( Mexico), where they lost with 0:7 and thus eliminated.
